I’ve just completed work on a new plugin, and am about to send it off for review for inclusion in the WordPress.org plugin catalog. Meanwhile, if you want it, you can download it here.
If you saw my recent posts about featured images, you know I’ve been working on figuring out best practices around their use and how to suppress them when the theme you’re using displays them in a way you don’t want.
I showed how to hide them with custom CSS, but that’s not really satisfactory — what we want is to head ’em off at the pass. Rather than having HTML and using a trick to hide it, it’s better to not have the stuff you don’t want included in the page in the first place.
